Milo Z (Poster Design)

R&B Productions, the promoter for the Milo Z tour coming to the Bay Area this week, hired me to design the posters for all the venues Milo Z would be playing at. Of course the band only had a photo – no logo or anything else to support the design. Luckily the photo (photographer unknown) was pretty good, giving me something to work with. The red-striped-jacket-guy in front gave me the design inspiration for the whole poster, and I went with red as an overall theme for the look.

For more info about the Milo Z tour, check out For all my Santa Cruz friends, they’re playing in Felton at Don Quixote’s International Music Hall this friday night @ 8pm, so if you’re into Razzamofunk (Rock+Rap+Jazz+Blues+Funk) check ’em out!

Miguel - Dude, that poster looks awesome. As a matter of fact, it looks like an album cover.
If the guy wouldn’t have been wearing the suit I would have used the blue facade in the background for inspiration to give it that funk look.
    Great freagin’ job.
