Meaghan found me online, and even though she’s having a friend shoot her wedding, she wanted a local photographer to capture her and Brad’s country spirit for her engagement session. When she said she wanted a barn/farm-like atmosphere, I knew we’d have to shoot at Wilder Ranch State Park in Santa Cruz. The green fields, old barns, distressed wood, rusty farm equipment and overall feel was the perfect venue for an old-fashioned country-style engagement session with a sexy twist. Meaghan brought that twist with her simple, short dress and red cowboy boots. Being an actual farm-boy, Brad didn’t have to pretend to show his country roots; with his rugged handsomeness and Meaghan’s stunning good looks, every photo looks like it belongs on a magazine cover.
