Usually newborn photos happen within the first 10 days after birth – that’s when babies are sleeping most, and are most “poseable.” However, if you miss that window of time, that doesn’t mean you can’t get adorable photos of your little one at all! They change so quickly at this early stage in their lives, it’s really quite amazing. I set up my studio in Garrett’s mom and dad’s room, on the bed. I use lighting equipment and reflectors, but it doesn’t seem to bother these little guys. After a couple different outfit and blanket options, we went outside to the back yard where we took some photos of Declan holding Garrett, and then the whole family.
