I met David this morning at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz. Recently graduated from college back East, David is laying the foundation for his future in music – and one small part of that is publicity photos. When he initially called me, he was just looking for a headshot, but I convinced him while that was fine, we should make better use of our time to try and get some more creative portraits. We mostly shot at the park across the street from Holy Cross – the lighting wasn’t great, but I brought light, which makes shooting in less than ideal conditions super easy.
