Shannon and Greg are a fun, easygoing couple who aren’t afraid to roll with my crazy ideas. They wanted to have an engagement shoot at a beach in Santa Cruz, so after looking through some recent e-sessions I’ve done around the area, they settled on 3-Mile Beach. It’s a couple miles out of town, a mile or two past the main entrance for Wilder Ranch. It’s easy to miss as there’s not many places to park, and it’s mostly visited by surfers who don’t mind walking 1/3 mile to the beach with their boards. It’s a little sketchy getting down to the beach, especially carrying equipment, but we made it unscathed and had a great time.
