Quite a few executives at San Jose City Hall needed some new portraits, so instead of giving them all the same cookie-cutter background treatment, we decided to use the lovely architectural attributes throughout the property to get some striking portraits of these business professionals. My favorite is probably the first one, shot on the 17th floor with a see-through grated floor – not for the faint of heart, but I loved the reflections, the view of San Jose, and the curving linear elements that I used to frame the subject.
